Disney’s latest professional functions the song “Good Life” by One Republic. So any time I listen to that song in the car, I want to hold driving and go to Disney Much like I generally want some Burger King when I hear “Melt with you” by Modern English.
Anyway. As a kid, these advertisements drove me crazy simply because I always desired to go to Disneyland. I’ve been there over 20 times. My husband and I both are very well known. In fact, we find it so strange when we meet a grown adult who has never been to Disneyland. I would not need any achievements or reason to go. I’d go on a random Thursday. For our latest Disney trip, we left on a Thursday but it wasn’t random at all. We were enjoying our marriage on a Disneyland Honeymoon!
Most people pick exotic or costly honeymoon locations; places they haven’t been to. Or at least in the movies, they do instead, my husband and I picked Disneyland due to the fact it wasn’t foreign at all. We love Disneyland and have a lot of fond memories from viewing there as children. We even have thoughts of visiting there half a 12 times while we were dating and involved. We knew that we desired to remember investing our honeymoon jointly at a place we love almost as much as each other. And so we did!
They also sell some nice “just wedded” gifts, and we purchased a few.
We bought a super cute 5×7 picture frame for one of our marriage photos. It characteristics bride and groom mouse ears in the bottom sides with the text “Gladly Ever After.” We didn’t even have to pay full price, either, but this wasn’t a honeymoon perk. Disney has started a new coupon system that we took advantage of when buying all of our Disneyland products. Any time we ate at a park cafe the bottom of our invoice featured a coupon for 20% off one item at select stores. The only get was that you had to use it within a specific time frame, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Completely, we ended up with coupons for the Emporium and the Star Trader. We bought the frame from the Emporium on our last day.
We also selected up some cute salt and pepper shakers from the Emporium. They’re far too lovely to ever use. Their noses are very sensitive, so ours are purely for design. I can’t wait to get a china cupboard to put them in. Any other time, I’d say these shakers are just absolutely tacky but I fell in love with them as soon as we saw them. Should we ever use them, Minnie will be salt and Mickey will be pepper as I use salt and my husband uses pepper
If you ever buy your own, examine them very carefully. We almost bought a set with matching broken noses. To the best of my internet-searching capabilities, these are not accessible anywhere else, but appropriate if I’m wrong.
They have a new bride and groom version of the conventional Mickey ears but we have seen single couples and teenagers wear them, so they didn’t feel as unique to us. I found some cute Minnie and Mickey plush toys that were dressed as bride and groom in a Fantasy land store, but we didn’t pick these up. Other items we saw but didn’t purchase, include snow globes, figurines, and other designs of marriage photo frames. I’m quite satisfied with our honeymoon.
