Some good yoga asanas(poses) for increasing height are the cobra, warrior, triangle, downward facing dog, bridge, and shoulder stand asanas. Some good exercises for lengthening your legs include jumping, jumping rope, biking, swimming, running, kicking and hanging. Do these exercises at a high strength for 15 to 20 minutes each. When biking to increase your leg length raise the seat up as much as you can. When swimming makes sure your body is stretched out.

It is important to maintain good position. Try to keep your spine straight. Slouching makes you shorter. If you do it often enough your muscles become weaker making it harder to stand or sit straight. Yoga can improve your posture but you should still pay attention to how you are sitting, laying down or standing.

As people get older they often become shorter. If you want to prevent shrinkage you need to maintain good posture and remain flexible. Try to keep exercising on a regular basis.
