Reebok Fraud Widespread, Suspect Police

Investigation agencies suspect Reebok India employees could be involved in the alleged scam that likely to set back its parent company, Adidas, by Rs.870 crore, reports our Bureau from Delhi.

A senior Gurgaon police told ET the alleged fraud could not be the handiwork of just two people.

Adidas had only named Reebok’s former MD Subhinder Singh Prem and former Chief operating officer Vishnu Bhagat in its FIR registered with Gurgaon police for the fraud. “Prime facie, the FIR suggests that either a loophole in the system was exploited or a whole team was involved, “the official added.
